Ingredients:
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 box Calhoun's Biscuit Mix
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 ºF

Beat butter and brown sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy

Beat in vanilla and egg

Add biscuit mix and beat on low speed until combined

Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if using)

Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets approximately 2 inches apart

Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are set and golden brown

Let cool for 2 minutes and transfer to wire rack to finish cooling
